When I decided to propose to my girlfriend I set a date and came up with a great idea for an engagement ring. I was short on time as I was planning a special get away to Hawaii to celebrate our 1 year anniversary of when we first met. I researched a lot of places to find the perfect diamond for her but found nothing to compare to her uniqueness. Then a friend suggested Harrison’s Diamonds and Designs. I checked out the diamond inventory on line first. I searched through hundreds of diamonds and settings. The selection was great and I finally found the perfect diamond. I went in to the store with a print out of what I saw and was blown away with how beautiful a high quality diamond truly is in person.

It was perfect! The diamond and the setting were just what I wanted to show her how much I love her and how special she is to me. Chris had it set and sized for me in a couple of days and I was off to Hawaii to pop the big question. Well she absolutely loved the ring and of course she said YES! How do mothers pass on their loving memories to their daughters and granddaughters... with treasured family jewelry!

For many years I thought I could buy quality jewelry at department stores at discount prices. I was convinced sales people behind a jewelry case knew quality and would help me purchase something special. Unfortunately, after I purchased the jewelry, I was always disappointed in the quality. The gems were dull in the sunlight. Prongs on stones would not hold and gold chains would wear out, and could not be repaired.

One day I heard on the radio, "If you don't know your jewelry know your jeweler". This advertisement was Chris Harrison from Harrison's Diamonds and Designs. This was the best advice I had ever heard for purchasing jewelry. I had been going into Chris Harrison's jewelry store for some time with friends who had lovely jewelry. Chris was always polite and helpful in selecting quality jewelry. Obviously I did not know jewelry.

Harrison's Diamonds and Designs is now the only jewelery store where I purchase jewelery. Chris takes the personal time and expertise to assist me in making informed decisions on purchasing jewelry. I have never been disappointed, just delighted. Chris is so committed to his clients, when he is shopping for diamonds in Antwerp, Belgium, he brings home only the most beautiful diamonds to meet specific order requests. I have really appreciated this special touch. Over the last couple of years he has been doing this for me. I will continue to seek out his expertise in trading up on my diamonds.

Now I have beautiful jewelry that my daughter and granddaughter will adore. Not to mention, special memories of how much I love them.

I just want to compliment you and your staff for a job well done. I was certainly impressed by the introduction I received from you the moment I stepped foot inside your store. I felt welcome and knew I wasn't going to leave without making a purchase of some sort. I was truly  impressed by the greetings, smiles and friendliness of you and your staff. The professionalism and excellent customer service was none to any that I had seen, demonstrating the bond and high standard you project to your customers. In  fact, to be in an environment like that, makes me feel warm and welcome telling me I'm in the right place and in good hands. The patience you showed me while  giving the tour of your rings and putting yourself in my shoes as far as making a decision is concerned really impressed me as well. I'm really thankful to you for that.

Impressing me the most and leaving me speechless was how you put your trust in me. I remember after I made the selection you told me "David, I want you to take this ring with you tonight", even when I didn't have the full amount and the credit company was closed. I was really grateful and appreciative for what you did for me, to make my plan go forward. I shall live to remember this moment forever.

You are a great person and a great business person. I promise to be your ambassador to my friends and others I encounter and tell them all about you. I am certain that no one has ever left your store unsatisfied, but always happy and willing to come back with more people. That is how I feel about you guys and all the good things you do every day for your customers. You deserve all of our business. No question about it.

Another thing that impressed me was how you guys worked overtime to make your customers and their families meet their plans. It's not just about the business of give and take but going over and beyond to make your customers happy especially when they need you most, particularly during holidays. It was an impressive demonstration of care, love, kindness and appreciation.

It is always a great feeling to know that somebody cares. I want to assure you that you have earned my business, respect and friendship and there's nowhere else I'd rather go to get jewelry than the great HARRISON'S.
